Travis from The Controller Online writes: " Rare and Big Park team up with Microsoft Studios to bring us Kinect Sports Season 2. Six new sports highlight the second season along with in-game voice activation and a challenge play mode. Kinect sports was the most sold kinect game ever and was a great start for people to get familiar with the kinect sensor, being very simple easy to use game. Kinect Sports 2 uses the kinect sensor to its full advantage by not only using the motion tracker but make its easier to navigate through the game with tons of voice commands."
With Microsoft announcing that they’re stopping production of the Kinect, we reflect and look back at some of the highlights that the motion based peripheral has given us.
I actually prefer KS season one, and Kinect Adventure over most on the list. But its good that someone else was bold enough to say these were fun and interesting games to play.
James O'Connor of MMGN: Motion controlled games can only succeed, I think, when they don’t have a clear vested interest in proving the worth of the technology, and Rivals feels a bit too much like a tech demo.
The only problem I have for it is the lack of mini games... I like 5/6 of the games in Rivals, but there are quite a few they should have brought back from previous entries... I won't be paying $60 for what's available now...
Techtorial: Target finally revealed its Black Friday online sale today giving big discounts to gamers.
"The Controller Online" reviews Kinect games?
The irony.
We asked ourselves the same question once and the universe told us it was ok. By universe I mean the fact that Kinect is pretty fun.
