BF3 Open Beta Page Appears

As gamers eagerly wait the Battlefield 3 open beta, someone has discovered a BF3 Open beta login page. Hopefully this means the Open Beta will be soon

I can't wait for the Beta. I want to see if my company supplied laptop will run it on high settings. If not it'll give me time to go shopping.

An Alienware laptop will likely not even feel comfortable on high, not trying to shoot your hopes down but honestly chances are you will get medium-low if your shooting for a good framerate

I got to pick out my own laptop and I got the ASUS G74SX (Nvidia GX560m GPU). I can do pretty good on BBC2 with everything on high, I'm hoping this isn't going to be too much more demanding.

Ah I see, It really depends how many extra assets of DX11 they decide to use then I guess, The majority would be reserved for ultra though so yeah you actually have a pretty good chance I would imagine. Pretty nice GPU to get in your laptop there by the way. Asus do make good laptops eh? (proud owner too lol)

I enjoyed the Alpha so much, I just hope they fixed most of the bugs which were found in the Alpha since there was quite a few.

Same here, sometimes I could go a good couple of hours without any problems.
Other times it would crash every ten minutes. It was always when I was kickin ass too, never crashed when I was sucking :-(

yah i downloaded the beta drivers and it was still terrible. Still was fun, it always crashed when there was a bug visible or when switching weapons

I believe you have to preorder...but yeah it's open beta for everyone with a preorder...closed for people with MoH limited edition and if you preorder on origin...those two options give you two days earlier on the beta

actually its open beta. period. you will not need a pre order.(this was confirmed via twitter in case you were wondering). people who got suckered into buying MoH and those who pre ordered BF3 through Origin will get "early access" I do believe it is on all supported systems.

If the page is up I'm betting the early access will be starting pretty soon. Last I heard they were shooting for this month for the actual Open beta though.
