Original Gamer: "After playing the hell out of Call of Duty Black Ops, I have to admit I was a bit burned out on the FPS genre. I took a break for awhile, sticking with games like Starcraft 2 because I felt that I had my fill of shooting people in the face. So when I first heard about the imminent release of Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, I wasn’t impressed; surely a game like that couldn’t possibly compete with the big guns out there like Modern Warfare and Battlefield?"
Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
Today I would like to show off the Baikal shotgun, which you saw in render form during my last communication in action.
Gaming Respawn takes a look at the Top 10 simulator games to play on PC this year.
Not one flight simulator listed like DCS World one of the most hardcore flight sims ever or a racing simulator like iRacing? Really poor list
I clicked, curious where in the list DCS World would appear.
A top simulators list that doesn't include DCS World is a poor list.
A top simulators list that includes no flight simulators whatsoever is an extremely poor list.
A top simulators list that includes no flight sims or racing sims is a joke.
The fact that Bus Simulator made the list at all makes the list absurd, even Farming Simulator is better than that.
It lists ETS2 but not the new American Truck Simulator?
I agree, a very poorly thought out list.
can't wait to try it out.
I played the beta and didn't like it, it just felt dated. I appreciate that it is a budget title and aimed at fans of hardcore shooters, but it is not for me.
I'm with you bumnut, at first of hearing this game I was all for it, but after watching many gameplay clips my intrest has declined severely, it looks very dated, character movement is clunky, and the overall vibe just seems to me like an old call of duty title (call of duty 2's graphics come to mind here)
http://www.youtube.com/watc... -look mehhh....and those animations...uggggg
I will wait it out, I'm sure it will be part of the steam christmas sale and I'll pick it up for $5-$7.50. If the game is good, there will still be a ton of people playing it!
It's actually a really good game, the first proper PC game for a long time. Full dedicated servers, mod tool etc on release.
The PC clan community is getting really excited about this, after the way call of duty and BF:BC went with little or sometimes no dedicated server support and nothign in the way of Dev tools, the PC gaming community is hoping that it will bring back the good old days of competitive PC gaming.
If you played the first RO you would know that this game is much more accessable and much less hardcore than the previous versions, but Tripwire has made a great game here.
I also think the animations and Graphics are really nice, honestly play it then tell me what you think, the map design and artistry thats gone nto it has made them look like some of the most beautiful maps I've ever seen.

for anyone doubting the graphics. Why does it think this is spam?
