Project Soul’s Daishi Odashima recently made an interesting comment on Twitter that hints that the development for his upcoming title, Soul Calibur V, is being rushed.
then slow down?
If the boss wants the game out the door on x-xx-xxxx there's really nothing he can do. They're probably telling him, "Scrap all that extra outfit, extra character and extra stages stuff. We can offer that as dlc two days after launch. Get this game out the door asap so we can sell millions noaw!"
Well the Boss has obviously been talking to the Boss of Capcom
Two days after launch my butt. Already have it on the disc, and those that preorder can unlock but those that don't have to pay $9.99 for a patch to unlock it.
Yeah MaideninBlack is right. Sadly that is how it is in todays world. Most people don't know that these games are rushed they just see that there is another Soul Calibur game and they just buy it regardless. SC5 looks exactly like SC4 did. I see absolutely no difference. The only thing is that I think the game is getting way, waaaaaaaay to colorful. Almost like a kindergarteners color-book.
@jc48573 Tell that to the publisher the developer just makes the game =/
Thats not a good sign :(
Well for me, a long time fan, the hype for this game is almost cero... nada.
Creative vs Business, creative rarely wins the exchange, don't know what else to say about it. Hopefully it turns out good.
i was really excited for soul calibur! but after this news...
The game is looking awesome! don't rush it out now and ruin it, I'd gladly wait another year if it took that long to make it perfect D:
double post :/
the screens are absolutely gorgeous, i hope this level of image fidelity fares well with the frame rate. i can see many of the veterans returning. after all these years, they didn't lose their attitudes and personalities. discuss it with the bosses Daishi you must convince them. please take your time and deliver the best SC game ever, perhaps the last an aged gamer like me will play. good luck to all of us.. can't wait to enter the stage of history one last time.
Then they should really take their time. 7_7
wow first of all only half the people here understand that team soul doesn't wont to rush it, the "company" is (now listen this is important) putting pressure on them. project soul is very active in listening to there fans on this next installment, instead of giving up on them why not show support for project soul so that they have to courage to stand up and say we are gunna do it right.
I'm excited to play it! Project Soul, I'll be patient even if things aren't perfect at launch. I'll be able to hang on for a while after launch if there are bugs/issues you need to address.
