Lol wow it's mind bottling how Bf3 or Mw3 did not make the list.

Still Skyrim is my most anticipated game.

DarkCharizard_5043d ago (Edited 5043d ago )

Just as I expected, The Legend of Zelda wins by a f**king huge margin! It won most anticipated on GAF's poll also.

GotY

-Alpha5042d ago

^It has a fair chance.

GOTY means very little when so many sites/opinions have one. We could use the VGA's as an official place, but I don't exactly see the value in their shows.

DERKADER5042d ago

If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it GOTY I will,I got spare time.

NESpower5042d ago

@dragonknight

I remember the last Zelda winning more than a couple GOTY awards for 2006..go look it up...lol. So just stop your crying. How many games will have 40+ hours of gameplay this fall? Also the fact it's been almost 6 years for another home console Zelda. I can see why it's most anticipated.

Highlife5042d ago

As the only wii title on the list you are going to get alot of votes for one game. The other consoles have multiple games so the field is going to be more fragmented. Then again since 200 people is such a large sample size who am I to argue.

kerky5042d ago

People could pick from more games than were on the list. If you read the first article you would realize that. This article shows the results, people could choose any game they wanted too.

TheMyst5042d ago (Edited 5042d ago )

I think the official GOTY should be whatever the AIAS chooses.

So far the GOTY from the AIAS have been:

2006: Gears of War (360/PC)
2007: COD4 (360/PC/PS3)
2008: LBP (PS3)
2009: UC2 (PS3)
2010: ME2 (360/PC/PS3)

In my opinion, that AIAS award means a lot more than any other award from any independent website and especially better than the crapfest that is the VGAs.

Uncharted 3. The beta was the most fun I ever had in a game since forever.

Gears 3 beta was very polished and good, but I just didn't have fun with it. It's not as "noob-friendly" as Uncharted 3 is.

cyborg69715042d ago (Edited 5042d ago )

And having a chainsaw bayonet isnt nooby enough for you troll.

Batman AC is my most anticipated game.

Kur05042d ago

Rolling around with a shotgun is pretty nooby if you ask me.

Iroquois_Pliskin5042d ago

Taking roids instead of hittin the gym is also pretty nooby if you ask me

Solidus187-SCMilk5042d ago

DARK SOULS is my most anticipated game since deus ex is out already. Then ME3 next year.

Im also excited for playing Gears 3 co-op Story with my friends, and playing uncharted 3 multiplayer.

And Diablo 3 too whenever that comes out.

andibandit5042d ago (Edited 5042d ago )

Dark Souls will problably have the same lame coop mode as demon souls, so thats a no go for me.

im not expecting too much from gears, but any game that lets me play the campaign in coop usually gets my money.

and for diablo 3, yeah im exited to see what blizzard has made this time. The first diablo had me going for a few months. Diablo 2 had me loot hunting for a year or so. I hope Diablo 3 will have mercy on me.

A game that is also on my list is Trials HD Evolution, mainly because this time there's multiplayer

PaPa-Slam5043d ago

Uncharted 3, BF3 & Infamous 2:Festival of Blood.

PR_FROM_OHIO5042d ago

Uncharted 3 hands down for me!!!! Also i'm excited for BF3.

The Meerkat5042d ago

Project: Horned Owl Review

From the mid-1980s to the early part of the 2000s, light gun rail shooters were a staple in both arcade and home system gaming. Arguably, the genre started to really hit its stride in the mid-1990s. While games like Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, and House of the Dead, among others, dominated both the home system and arcade space, some one relegated to only home game systems. Today, we’ll be talking about a little-known cult game published by Sony called Project: Horned Owl. This game was developed by Alfa Systems, and all in all, this is a fun game.

I don't quiet get who it's directed at. General player? Sure, I can believe them not knowing some of the less popular final fantasy games. But final fantasy FANS? There is nothing forgotten about these games.

The score for the first Plants Vs Zombies is such great, iconic music that it has a timeless quality. Not quite the level of Minecraft, but wonderful in its own right.
