Seagate Hard Drives Ship With Virus

If people have purchased a Maxtor Basics Personal Storage 3200 hard drive after August 2007 they might have a hard drive that came infected with a virus. Called virus.win32.autorun.ah this virus searches a computer for passwords to online games and then sends them to a private server. The uber-popular World of Warcraft is unfortunately one of the games affected. If people think they might have one of the infected drives they can head over to the Seagate website where their customer service representatives can help them determine if they are one of the unlucky people to get this virus. They are also offering free virus removal services if people are infected.

prepacked with a virus if they dont bust the dude's that did this Seagates has good has dead to me.

when I read this story because the person would have to infect the hard drive before it was even packaged. Perhaps they work for Seagate??
