No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise (PS3) Review

No More Heroes is not only one of the Wii’s best titles, it’s also one of the best games of all time and Heroes’ Paradise brings it to a new audience on the PlayStation 3. In all the important ways the port stays faithful to Suda 51′s original game, fixes a few of its issues, and adds a touch of new content/features. This makes it a great option for those who are new to the franchise to jump in, but also a good excuse for fans to once again join Travis on his journey to the top.

i just could not get into it, and the ps move felt really unresponsive. I kept having to recalibrate. It looked real fun too. I might give it another go in the future.

I highly recommend you do. Its a very "different" and enjoyable experience compared to the other games out there. Suda loves getting old game conventions then turning things completely upside down when you play it.

I just hope you are not easily offended by some of the jokes.

Move feels fine for me, but can someone explain exactly what I'm supposed to do to get out of those sword clash situations please? You know, the situation where both you and opponents lock swords (whatever). The manual says to rotate the Move around in a circle motion, but how are you supposed to do that???

Whenever I get into one of those, I just flail wildly while swearing a lot...

If its like the Wii then pretend you are drawing a circle in front of you and that should work.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I think I've lost hair trying to figure out the best way to react to that situation...

Love the soundtrack to this game, of course i would the guy who did God Hands soundtrack did the music for this game and you can tell.

You mean Masafumi Takada. He has been kicking alot of ass lately with his work in NMH and Vanquish but new hopefuls like Erica Niwa and Masashi Hamauzu plus the return of Akira Yamaoka is making hard to choose whose the best artist lately.

Yeah, Masafumi Takada is a video game music legend to me. Lol, i work out to his music and feel like a bad ass.

Ahh, yes the final fight with the Devil Hand (forgot his name :[ ) Every time I hear this track on my Mp3 all I can see is clashing feet and fists until the track stops. If you really would like more Masafumi works check out the Killer 7 OST. They were his early tracks but still a few leaps a head of most OST's nowadays.

I will. Going to add you :)
