Richard Cobbett writes:Mass Effect 3 promises to be an explosive end to Bioware’s trilogy, but will it be the end of its universe?
“Not at all no,” says Bioware CEO Dr. Ray Mazuka when we put the question to him at Gamescom this year. “We have ambitious plans to continue this franchise going forward. Mass Effect 3 is simultaneously a couple of different things; a thrilling and epic conclusion to the trilogy as we promised our fans we’d provide for Commander Shepard, but it’s also a brand new beginning – it’s an entry point for new fans and it’s also a brand new beginning.”

Mass Effect 3 is remade, rebuilt, and remastered thanks to a huge Mass Effect mod which changes almost everything in the Bioware RPG, as we await Mass Effect 4
A sequel starring a badass Turian murdering everyone would be awesome.
I finished mass effect 2 again today so I'm pretty hyped for this now, I wish I didn't have to wait
I actually hope Shepard sacrifices himself in ME3, it would only be fitting. Start the next trilogy off with a new character and maybe keep some of the current ones in their too, just to make it seem familiar.
I can't wait to get Mass Effect 3. I just restarted Mass Effect and once I finish that I will go back through Mass Effect 2. This is easily one of the best new IPs this gen and I'm glad I got the chance to play them.
I predict shepard's sacrificial demise....
