DSOGaming writes: "Get ready Space Marines because the full details of Warhammer 40: Space Marine's Co-Op mode will be revealed this week."
I played the demo, it's a real solid game and the controls are great.
I have no access to my box atm!! Is it a really good game? I'm guessing the demo is just an early level? I'm a little worried for the devs... The game looks really good! And I was a fan of Warhammer 40K when I was younger so I have been looking forward to this. But it's being released close to some of the gaming world's juggernauts. Hopefully, being released just before the bigger games will give it a good sales base.
It's really fun, but IDK if it's worth the $60 price. It's not a bad game at all and if you like Warhammer, you'll like this (I never knew about Warhammer until I played this demo and now I'm hooked). To me though, it doesn't look like too much content to warrant $60. And if it releases near fall, then IDK if a lot of people are going to pick it up.
I'm looking forward to the co-op details. I got to go to a recent THQ event and some co-op action was meant to be playable there, but the code wasn't ready in time. Buzz there was that it is going to be some kind of five player horde mode, but the official reps were tight lipped about it - although when I compared it to DoW's Last Stand mode I'm sure I saw an eyebrow quiver!
I know I've got it preordered. It's really tight. Mp promises to be awesome as it is jammed full of cosmetic rewards that you can use to create your space marine. And it's not fps....which makes these unlocks particularly appealing. You also unlock useful things too. Lol.
Loved the demo, has a lot of similarities to Dawn of War 2, Relic 4tw.
