Ninja Gaiden 2 and many more heading to Xbox360.

Team Ninja's Lead designer "Tomonobu Itagaki" has a great love for the Xbox platform and in his interview with IGN had a whole bunch of things to say about his future projects, "I just want everyone to know that we are going to continue bringing out the newest releases on the Xbox platform before they're on other systems" and he has at least 5 titles lined up for Xbox360 owners including "Ninja Gaiden 2" & "Code Cronus", enjoy.

Damn nice, Ninja Gaiden 2 such a great example again from innovative exclusives only on 360.

Gimme the game!

USMChardcharger6440d ago

everyday i wake up and log on to the net, i am always greeted with more reason of why it is good to own a 360. i am in my happy place. Thank you Tomonobu Itagaki for the 1st good reason for today...(so far)

Marriot VP6440d ago

haha you said it brother, games I didn't even expect to be made on the 360 are exclusively. Games I originally had no interest in like gow, lost planet, mass effect, SC, and a few other AAA.

I really just bought it for halo 3 and now I'm overwhelmed with new incredible games.

Dusk6440d ago

It's really good the he's so supportive of the Xbox/360.Team Ninja and Capcom, who have so far been coming through with flying colors for the 360, are turning out to be a nice potent combo for 360 owners.

Islandkiwi6440d ago

Ninja Gaiden...argh! It's so hard!

But you know what? I respect that. I'm looking forward to getting my ass handed to me with NG2!

USMChardcharger6440d ago

lol, i hear ya. anyone else notice that when playing Ninja G. that your over all gaming skills would go up (reflexes).

i would play a few sessions of 'ol Ninja G. and then jump on (at the time) GR:summit strike and would kick some A$$.

no_more_heroes6440d ago (Edited 6440d ago )

And yes, after playing through Ninja Gaiden I definately feel more skillful. The first time I played through it it took me more than 40hrs. The second time, it barely took me 12hrs to beat fully. This is what I've learned:
1. TRY YOUR BEST NOT TO STAND STILL FOR MORE THAN TWO SECONDS.
2. You have combos, use them. Don't just rely on one combo too long.
3. Blocking and dodging at the right time is REALLY helpful.
4. Upgrade your weapons AS SOON AS YOU GET A CHANCE TO.
5. USE aformentioned upgraded weapons.
Following these methods will make the game that much easier.

Why do we need a remake of Dead or Alive, instead of a new installment in the series ?

blackblades521d ago (Edited 521d ago )

There's no remake it says reboot. There is a difference just like a difference with remaster as well. They all have re doesn't mean they are the same. They want to reboot and start fresh after both series with South. With there success with nioh series it might be a good idea and hopefully goes well for them and the games.

Crows90521d ago

Reboot ala tomb raider...i don't think you have a problem with that.

Number1TailzFan521d ago

Fighting games are too shallow, they were good at first.. up til around Tekken 3 and Soul Calibur on Dreamcast, because they had a ton of extra modes and challenges and stuff. Everything after is basically the same, or with even less content.

Terry_B521d ago

Sounds like you did not play a lot of fighting games after SC 1.

FinalFantasyFanatic521d ago

Really? I feel like they add way too many systems and options to some of the newer games. Like Soul Calibur 6 for example, feels like they'res just too much going on, whereas I loved 2 and memorized all the skills and options for my favorite characters, played through most of the modes as well.

boing1521d ago

Been playing Tekken for almost 30 years. It's the opposite of shallow.

New Ninja Gaiden Game Could Be Outsourced to Different Developer

A new Ninja Gaiden game could be outsourced to another developer, but only if it's one that fits the Ninja Gaiden pedigree.

Eh, beside team ninja, its platinum games and both could do good but also bad going by there history. Dmc5 devs is another or a Namco team.

What Happened to Ninja Gaiden?

Ninja Gaiden is a classic franchise that originated on the NES. It was successfully remastered in the mid-2000s but then faded away. What happened?

Yup; it needs a revamp anyway; combat was good but story was a mess; and for some reason they made Ryu hideous; he was fine in DOA2-3, i'm not sure why they made him look like an older generic plastic man.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

Clearly someone has not played Ninja Gaiden. Otherwise this comment wouldn't exist.

Ninja Gaiden on the SNES had such amazing music, and the gameplay was absolutely brutal but perfect. I also remember all the hype surrounding Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox, and that became one of my biggest reasons for buying one. Ninja Gaiden was the demon/dark souls game that I and so many others grew up playing, and just like those games, there were no excuses for dying because the core mechanics were rock solid.

Godmars290644d ago (Edited 644d ago )

To use an ancient phrase: "it got woke."

No, seriously. A game intended for action nerds who do energy drinks trough I-Vs and habitually watch ninja movies, someone thought it was a good idea to include enemies including psycho killer mercs, murderous mutants and literal feed on human suffering demons, wage slave security guards who only beg and plead for their lives when cornered. With no option not to kill them.

There was also that lame climbing mechanic...

tbagmonster644d ago

and the horde fighting sections where horrible as well

Concertoine644d ago

Not seeing how this constitutes “going woke”

Godmars290644d ago

Trying to make you the player regretful for killing a character who doesn't want to die, is obviously an innocent, while giving you no option but to kill them. To sour you against violent games while playing one.

ChubbyBlade644d ago

lol “woke”

I guess that just means “me no likey”

0hMyGandhi642d ago

"To sour you against violent games while playing one."

...That has almost nothing to do with "being woke".
