CVG - We don't want to get too pretentious and flowery over a game that basically just involves rotating squares around to odd Japanese music, but Lumines could well be described as the world's first 'sandbox' puzzle game.

During their Spring Nindies Showcase, Nintendo announced that the 2005 rhythm puzzle game, Lumines, is heading to the Nintendo Switch sometime this spring as Lumines Remastered.
I played this game more than any other on my psp. While on the go I much prefer puzzle games compared to others.
I really hope they bring this to the Vita, and soon.
Why?
Because it's the only game that I lost a whole night of sleep over.
Started playing im bed at 11pm then before I knew it had to get up for work at 6am!!!
Sneaky me though took it to work and played it in my dinner hour ;)
Lumines is one game that I never get tired of. I have played every iteration be it on the psp, ps2, ps3, xbox 360, or even on my cell phone. It is entrancing.
Why did they not release it on PSN for Go owners? This was my favorite game on PSP for quite some time. Stopped playing cause I got a Go...
