You mean the site? The opinion piece? Both?

Kran4652d ago

Oh look. Another 360magazine article....

Move along people.

Biglet4652d ago

Oh look, another salient Kran comment.

Kran4652d ago (Edited 4652d ago )

Two things.

1. Thanks for the recognition ;)

2. At least the majority of people are on my side most of the time than on yours.

I'm just curious. Does anything good come out of 360 magazine? Because all I see is hatred towards the PS3, and even to the 360 sometimes. I mean cmon.

So huge splash images, lots of logos and big fonts are super important, huh?

I'll rather have a clean and structured site like the one from gamescom. Thank you.

The website is there to promote the convention and not the companies you'll find there (so no logos of EA, THQ etc)

Biglet4652d ago

Essentially yes, they are 'super' important. The website is there to promote Gamescom, the embodiment of the European games industry - that clean corporate image doesn't align with the vibrant industry our side of the pond whatsoever, or the buzz of the show itself. I'd be curious as to what remit the BIU has exactly when it commissions the website.

And I find the E3 site far more navigable.

Anyone else see the comment on the bottom of the page... That pretty much sums up 360 magazine however, I am inclined to agree. I was at the website a few days ago and it just felt like a regular company website.

Yes it is.

Halo:Anniversary should be the 1st remake to be nominated for a GOTY slot.

Halo is the only FPS multiplayer game that never gets boring. The feel of the multiplayer is amazing. You all who play since Halo:CE know what I mean.

X_GAMER_X4630d ago

I know what you mean dude. Halo is magic. Its the only game I always go back play the campaign. Not many games give that feeling. Evey time you play the campaign you find it new and exciting. Played throu my Halo ce 10 years copy for about one month ago. Still amazing like the first time. Almost every game you buy now you want just to finish it and park it. As for multiplayer. You said it bro, its awsome. Can not wait for anniversary

Dota 2 preview: How Valve is building its first RTS from the ground up (DigitalTrends)

John Gaudiosi writes:Valve’s rich history with first-person shooters gets a break with Dota 2, a real-time strategy game that started life as a humble Warcraft mod.

Valve celebrated its latest video game, Dota 2, in a very big way at Gamescom 2011. The game maker awarded Team Na’Vi from Ukraine $1 million for winning the inaugural Dota 2 Invitational video game tournament, which took place at its booth over the course of five days in Cologne, Germany. Erik Johnson, product manager on Dota 2 at Valve, talks about the new game and why it’s a departure for the makers of hit franchises like Half-Life, Left 4 Dead and Portal.
