CVG will have an Assassin's Creed review with you shortly but, in the meantime, they are hosting six new screenshots from the game.
Without an online multiplayer component, or talks of DLC in the future, I'm afraid this one will only be a rental for me... That's not to say it won't be an AMAZING game, because I'm sure it will, but my purchasing dollars will be spent on Call of Duty 4 because of its replayability, not on Assassin's Creed.
Honest question??? Did you rent all the games when we didn't have console online gaming?? I know we get use to technology and evolution and we tend to expect the same or more after we try something new that we like.. for example online gaming, But to pass on a good game because it doesn't have a feature we were comfortably playing without in the past while still having a LOT of fun?? I don't care if a game has online or not.. If the game is good and it's interesting with a good story, nice visuals and nice gameplay then it's a buy.. If it has online?? good then... It's a plus for me. I respect your opinion tho, I was just curious. The best example is Uncharted in my case. I would never ever miss out on buying this promising game just because it doesn't have online... They gave a 110% on making a great single player game and that's enough for me. Of course this is all MO
This is not that type of game. I mean I think Call Of Duty 4 is spoiling everything, and I mean that in a good way. The game is amazing and because of that we Now expect a lot from games. But in all fairness this is not that type of game it's really more of a role playing. Would it have been cool if you could meet other assassin's online and teamed up on missions like going though campaign in halo 3. -HELL YEAH THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME. But not having that should not really hurt the game, as it will probably still be an amazing experience. I have added this to my buy list, and I think I will try it on PS3, since I really don't have any games for my PS3. (could find anything that seemed like it would be better on PS3) So this game seems to be at least as good as the 360 version - so I guess I'll try it on PS3. -just so I can show my PS3 some love. P L A Y B 3 Y O N D
LEMEE guess ur a ps3fanboy and u jealous this games is much better than uncharted ? and are crying cause this will exceed uncharted and in ur mind u think posting on this site will influence any 1 ? HAHAHA UR FUNNY
im so sick and tired of looking at screenshots.... i wanna play the damn game!
World has moved on, post videos.. Sure some screenshots are nice, but it seems like screenshot overdose..
I'm so hyped for this game... I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition and I get a 30cm model of Altair free cant wait
and are they still giving out free Altair's with the order?
GameStop dude. I'm in Europe though (Ireland to be exact) So it might depend on where you are. It hasnt been released yet so if your GameStop are doing the deal there might still be time
thanks for the info.. I'll check mine out and see what they say.
i'm in the 3/4 of the game already and the graphics are amazing, the draw distance is jaw dropping, people really don't need to be afraid, that they would say anything else about the graphics like - "wow!" Edit: Crazyglues i have the xbox version, btw. no fps slowdowns whatsoever during the whole game!! and i am not a xbox fanboy :)
PS3 or Xbox 360
Great looking game that I know I'll have to experience but with Ubisoft's blatant & constant disregard for the PlayStation fanbase I've decided not to buy any of their products brand new. Just rent or buy a used copy.
I'm a collector of exotic games this is payed for. I could Care less about Multi player.
It's not too late to pre-order the collector edition, I did it last night on gamestops website, they still have it with free overnight shipping using coupon code "creed" My order has already shipped as of 30 mins ago, will have tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up.
