No battlefield? It had the Project Reality mod in bf2 which basically turned it into a multiplayer war simulator. How about forgotten hope for bf2, it made a modern warfare game into a WW2 era game that is better than most ww2 games today.
ah... Zombie Panic Source, I think is the best mod for anything ever.
