'Twiggy', PushSquare: "Sony always has a big presence at GamesCom in Cologne. In 2009 it used the European show to reveal the PlayStation 3 Slim. And last year it made some huge software announcements: Virtua Tennis 4, Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One all got their debuts at the German event. But what can we expect from this year's show?"
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth series will be coming to PS4 this Fall.
Game Rant interviews Plants vs. Zombies composer Peter McConnell about honoring the series’ quirky roots, adapting its themes, and now going vinyl.
The score for the first Plants Vs Zombies is such great, iconic music that it has a timeless quality. Not quite the level of Minecraft, but wonderful in its own right.

i hope they will announce god of war 4 and at least have some news on agent.
But i have a feeling this will be a poor gamescom with no new surprises and just stuff from games we already know about just like e3 2011
my predictions :
1. lots of playstation vita info ( hopefully full release date details included )
2. new psn improvements
3. quantic dream new project
4. guerrilla games new project
A price cut that they so desperately need. If they want to sell anywhere close to what the 360 is selling they will need at least a $100/£60 price cut.
Although that will be quickly neutralised if MS chooses to cut price after them.

That link was for an estimation from analysts not actual sales :)
The 360 is still ahead of the PS3 WW for this year. PS3 has been down YoY for a while now while the 360 is up YoY.
Sony isn't going to announce a price cut. This is an extended generation and Sony is just now making money. Also having full console cost $50-$100 less then their new handheld probably wouldn't bode well for the Vita. I mean if you had the choice between the two, you gotta go with the PS3.
Also, who here doesn't think Microsoft wouldn't cut the 360 price the second Sony cut the PS3's price? That's why both companies aren't too eager to call a price cut, because they'd make less money and it'd be instantly negated by the other company. Imagine a Xbox 360 arcade for $99? or a 250 gig Xbox 360 for $199? or even a Kinect/Xbox 360 bundle for $249? Everything would be matched.
I'd expect a heavy showing of Vita, maybe even some Move items, I may not be a huge PS3 fan, but I'd love to see something/anything on Sorcery. It's the only game I saw worth owning a Move for.
