The best XBLIG new releases for the week of July 31

Just look at this week’s list of releases: a dozen new games, and not a single Avatar title among them. Okay, Avatars do pop up in Turtle Casino, but there are also 2D platforming segments with reptiles, so we’ll call that a wash. Are developers finally over the obsession with Avatars? Has our dream of one day playing an Avatar babysitting sim just been flushed down the toilet? We’ll keep our fingers crossed. In the meantime, check out this weeks’ crop of non-Avatar releases.
