"Overview - There are no games in the top 20 to be in its final week before launch. Star Wars: The Old Republic (PC) flies into the top 10 this week. The top five games include Gears of War 3 (X360), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360), Battlefield 3 (X360), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3), and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (X360). The entire top 20 now has 100,000 pre-orders, which is up from 18 last week. Three games add 50,000 or more pre-orders, up from two last week and six add 20,000 or more, down from nine last week."
ScreenRant's Stephen Tang writes, "The Elder Scrolls 6 won't be releasing for a while, and in the meantime, the modding community has been making Skyrim into a next-gen game."
That’s just laughable to me. I think they’ve squeezed all they can out of an 12 year old game
"Easily" because they see mods, says the gamer. To heck with licensing, terms agreements conditions, etc. all you need to do is belive in mods. Yeah, so real superficial BS yo.
Do people not want to play a new game? Like, I’d rather see 6 than just a prettier version of a game we’ve been playing since the 360/PS3 gen…
I don't want a next-gen version of a game I've already played to death. Skyrim was a great game, but I'm over it.
Activision has not launched the Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Gundam collab cosmetics, and also freebie skins in celebration of Pride month.
Nice to have inclusivity. Happy Pride Month to the Puerto Rican community & the LGBTQ community here in NYC.
Captain Price's fate at the end of 2011's Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 could've been very different, as this new post-credits scene reveals.
.
9.1 mill, for Gears is my guess. I chose BF3 for launch. I'll wait for a price drop on MW3.
Battlefield 3 for X360 at 12 w before launch: 400 k units
now matches Black Ops for X360 at 12 w before launch: 400 k units
Will be interesting to see what future will bring...
(Gamescom this week)
I'm surprised at the numbers for SWTOR. I had assumed that since I was seeing a bunch of places sell out of the collectors edition that it was selling fast. I guess supply is simply low and not able to meet demand there.
i think gears is selling well because it's the only exclusive available for the 360 this year...
