Sonic is BACK and better than EVER

Poor Sonic has been through a lot of harsh times.
But us at EGR personally have a feeling those dark times for the ol’ blue blur are over with the upcoming Sonic Generations.

I don't see any proof of it. Seems like these are ramblings of a fan desperate and deluded about the future of the Sonic games.

I hope I'm wrong though. I have waited a long time for a Sonic game to live up to its name.

This. I played the Sonic 4 demo and the animation and controls and the whole game was just mediocre at best. I'll stick to my Genesis or my Genesis Nomad for Sonic's. Sonic 1-3 at by far better than this crap. And they cost the same for all 3 carts!

I did read your article. Instead of making a knee-jerk reaction, how about you try and show me this proof. You have made such a sweeping statement: "Sonic is BACK and better than EVER" and then proceeded to write, what is essentially an opinion piece about how you have a "feeling" that the "dark times" of the franchise are over.

There is NO evidence whatsoever to back-up your misleading title.

Dude listen I didn't mean it like that. Sure, the title was meant more to catch someones eye then entirely the truth, I did read your comment. And I just took it the wrong way. I'm not butthurt over what you said, I'm just ticked off that whenever something SONIC related is posted nothing but hatred is usually spread. It's pretty annoying.

I've been a big Sonic fan. I played and re-played Sonic 1, 2, 3, S&K, Sonic Spinball, Sonic 3D (i loved it!!) and i bought the classic games (S1 and 2) on the PSN too. But about Generations... I didn't like the demo. I hope it gets better when the full product will be out. But.... dunno... ;(

Was a bkg fan of the original sonic games and i thought sony adventure 1 n 2 on the dreamcast were good games but not really liked anyother sonic games apart from sonic 4 but got that for my windows phone 7. I hope this new game takes it back to its roots as 3d sonic has not really worked like mario did.

Sonic Heroes wasn't bad, by any means. It was a fun game.
