SquareGo: An Idiot's Guide to 7th Generation Consoles

SquareGo writes:

"At the time of writing, tomorrow is my birthday. As a gift to myself, I’ve decided to upgrade my collection of consoles. You might have noticed all my reviews are online, PSP, or First Impressions. Personally, I would choose a PS3.

It's the only console where your purchase pretty much gets you everything without the need of having to buy subscriptions, other DVD/BluRay players, or other expensive harddrives as you probably would if you got a 4GB XBOX 360.

You gotta make up your own mind, but the console which does seem to provide the best bang for your buck is obviously the PS3.

I wen't with PS3 because from day one, I had (was going to have) the Exclusives I wanted.

I personally don't care for Halo or Gears, so I personally have no reason to own a 360.

Add that PSN is free and the PS3 has saved me $300, that Xbox 360 owners had to pay to play online.

$50(now $60) a year over the Consoles life, is a LOT of money.

How many more games can you buy with that spare $300 i've saved?

The score for the first Plants Vs Zombies is such great, iconic music that it has a timeless quality. Not quite the level of Minecraft, but wonderful in its own right.
