Finally a good review! Honestly this game is awesome! its certainly not a revolutionary jRPG but my dry spell of jRPGS has been quelled by this game.

Yeah, one of the reasons why I didn't import. Plus, I didn't wanna lose my character I put soooo many hours into in WKC1 >.<

I can't believe this. A review that doesn't knock on WKC2 for not having a tutorial.. and review the complete package Level-5 bothered to re-master for us.


"You have to be reasonably close to an enemy to execute an attack, even if the attack still won’t physically reach them, which wouldn’t be so much of a problem except enemies can hit you from a mile away."

Actually, they enemies do have to be close to you to start their attack, but once they start their attack, no matter how far you are... you will get hit.
It works the same way for us too. We just need to be close to start the attack.

For example: I cast Dragonfire (ala Firaga) and the enemy is within range. While I'm casting, if the enemy runs faaar away. It will still hit the enemy. Like wise, once they AI 'locks in' their attack, you are screwed. :D
