Confessions of a GameStop Shift Supervisor

From Consumerist:

"A shift supervisor at GameStop, is tired of all the GameStop bashing that goes on on the internet, and has written us a very lengthy guide to shopping at his store. Some of it is useful. just stop ripping people off. If a game costs $59.99 new give more than $25 in credit.

Unless you're gonna sell it for $25.

"A Gamestop worker pushing a reserve on you is trying to keep their job, literally"
I wont shop at a store that puts the customer behind their 'policies'

With all this complaining, their profits are through the roof.

I wonder how many people know that you can buy games on the internet or at other stores? If you can't wait one extra day for it to become available in your local Walmart, Target, BestBuy or whatever... YOU have a bigger problem. Most recent example - GHIII, Sears was selling it before any EB/GameStop place did.

I do like Gamestop for used games though. I just got (yes, I've been living under a rock) MGS2 from them - $6.99.
