GameBlurb writes, "It’s PlayStation 3 vs Xbox 360 and the game that’s going to square off is the demo of UTV Games El Shaddai. Which will emerge victorious? Or will the battle end in a wash?"
I played the demo and I was kind of too busy tripping out from the colors and effects. I would say the PS3 version looks marginally worse than the 360 one, like in the textures. Otherwise, I really doubt anyone's going to notice, especially with all the...pretty colors going on.
Judging from the first screen I agree, definitely noticeable anyway Anyhow, is this game good? Looks really interesting and the art style is ....fweh
The visuals in the game look beautiful in motion. Really something unique and original. As for how it plays, the demo was okay. I liked the ability to "purify" enemies weapons and use them against them. And the combat was pretty good as well. I am just not sure if this will be a day one pick up or not.
the only thing I liked about the demo were the platformer sections. everything else is way too linear for my taste. will have to check full game out though eventually
Those screenshots are taken with gamma levels all wrong. The 360 screens have crushed blacks and the PS3 screens are faded. This site needs to learn how to take proper screenshots.
Or better yet...the developers do their job and match color range on both platforms. It's not 2006 anymore, these differences should be happening.
Can't wait to try this out. Couldn't care less about nitpicking microscopical differences.
The developer himself said that the ps3 was the best version by far. Gameblurb uses the same shots as Lens of truth, which is to say: Fake.
are you sure about this?
i couldn't tell if i liked it or not from the demo have to try the full retail version to see
I'll be getting the superior PS3 version as it stays locked at 60fps unlike the 360 version. "Its always 60 FPS on PS3," Bettenhausen explained, "and the controls just feel better. I always tell people that 'by far, the lead SKU is PS3.' It is a Japanese game, and in Japan, PlayStation is just so much more relevant than Xbox. It's sold more than 10 times as many copies on PS3." http://blog.us.playstation....
