magicr questions "The Avenger, may this be the “Ultimate Gaming Advantage” that you’ve been waiting for?"
Having trouble finding the ideal gift for that special gamer in your life? Here’s a list of some affordable gift ideas!
David Kotkin's company N-Control is stepping up to the plate as a heavy hitter in peripherals. After chatting with him today, we were able to snatch a pic of one of his new prototype controllers. The Revolver seen above offers a true kickback every time you fire, smoke effects upon shooting and when you reload the gun in real life, the game will mimic it. Sounds pretty cool? It is and the other two prototypes are just as awesome.
Written by Joseph Caballero - After the tremendous fail from Ocean Marketting (see what I did there!), many of you forgot the entire reason for the incident, the Avenger itself. It was probably easy to say that even though the disaster was viewed negatively it however prompt some to have much interest in the Avenger. Now aside from that, I’d like to mention that the new PR that provided this sample for reviewing purposes was absolutely generous and friendly. Regardless, in what was easily the strangest accessory I have seen or ever used for any controller, the Avenger was actually the most beneficial to my gaming skills. The whole idea that gaming without the need to take your fingers off the analog stick is brilliant, not only did it help with first person shooters in reloading or swapping weapons it also felt nicely well designed for looking a bit confusing.
What the hell is this contraption? Look's like some sort of device that's supposed to keep me from throwing my controller. Are they trying to make add-ons for people who are too lazy to use the face buttons now?
What the hell? Piece of unnecessary junk. Really don't see the point in this, I can move my hands and fingers to reload and shoot just as fast as any one with this could. After all, you have to wait for the 'reload' or 'throw grenade' action to finish before you can do anything else. Pointless.
