'Move gave Heavy Rain a new-found sense of urgency'

CVG - After ten years of using a DualShock and becoming familiar with its every intricacy, I was suddenly taken by surprise. As the action unfolded I was scrambling for buttons and my hands were reacting in a whole new way, giving the game a newfound sense of urgency and drama.

But they were WAY to complicated for any incompetent to understand. I tried to get someone else to play and they just couldn't do it with the move. The Move was tacked on.
@NukaCola Clearly you did not play it with the move controls. It is not the natural motion you have to hold the T button in most cases and flick in one direction. In very little like turning a handle does it seem real and that doesn't happen so often. That was the only game I have ever Platinum'd and it is awesome. I thought it was heavily tacked on.

When using Move with Heavy Rain, if you mimic the motion icon it won't work right. You have to literally do the motion naturally and it works flawlessly. Quite scary if you ask me.

Either way you play, Heavy Rain is an experience unlike anything around this gen. I loved the game and was completely blown away. As a fan of Cage and I did enjoy Indigo Prophecy/Faranheit I must say he blew it out of the water with HR. Outstanding.

EDIT: What is with the disagree? I wish people would at least respond when they disgree.

LOL @disagree, someone who never played heavy rain let alone with move but have some other (twisted) motivations to dislike it.

Some people will just go around disagreeing with random people just to piss them off. Ignore it.

I loved HR too, there was so many plot problems for a 'movie game', but none of it mattered, surprisingly the gameplay was my favorite part of the experience, it got your heart going when it tried hehe. One of the highlights of this gen imo

Heavy Rain with Move changed everything. When it came out I went back to the game from scratch and began with the Taxidermist DLC. From there on to that first hand to hand fight in the main story I have never finished a game level and had my hands shaking before.

The use of Move literally made sequences in HR the most visceral experience I have ever had in a game. It's the kind of feeling I get when I realize I almost blew a low level hook turn or the first time someone took a shot at me. It is at once exhilarating and on the edge of your seat entertainment.
