Kotaku - When it comes to blowing the roof off a video game genre, one couldn't aim for a more low-hanging, flimsily constructed covering than that of the massively multiplayer online first-person shooter market.
Nice interview. another day another great MMO. Seems BF3 has started a revolution of high end games on the very near horizon.
I really hope this comes to the PS3. Sounds like one of the more interesting FPS games coming out.
the amount of ram you'd need for a huge open battlefield crammed with almost a thousand players suggests that this title would be next-gen for console or pc exclusive
I could see Sony building the ps4 more around MMO's. They seem to be supporting a few this gen on ps3 with Dc universe and Dust 514. Even though i think PC is the way to go for MMO's. But I wouldn't be surprised if Sony went that route..maybe even getting support from Blizzard to bring WOW over to next gen since ps3 supports mouse and keyboard i don't see why ps4 wouldn't. just a thought.

@nickjkl, That was from a game released in 2003, No chance of being able to perform visually like this and with thousands of players. Hardware just wouldn't be able to handle it. Now if they toned down the graphics then maybe, but doubtful that they would.
what you say doesnt make sense is the game already made to the point where we know it will be a downgrade or are you just assuming we already know its not going to look like h pc version maxed out so idk what your getting at
Hmmm this sounds cool, although I am more interested in Dust 514 to be honest.
