PS3 Addict reviews Aqua Vita

Remember flOw? They said it was an interactive screensaver, but it was actually a strange hypnotic deep sea game.

Now Sony strikes back with Aqua Vita, and this time IT IS an interactive screensaver! It's designed to work with the PS Eye webcam, and PS3 Addict reviewed it today.

Sounds lame. It should have a real screensaver function. Otherwise, this is pointless.

somehow Sony made an update or something where this could be made into a proper screensaver, it shows up when you leave the PS3 idling. Then this would be a buy for me, definitely. But until then, I don't know. I may get it just to check it out for myself.

Yups, agreed. It can hardly be considered a screen saver if it isn't seamless/automatic.

You don't need a screensaver for LCD monitors, or newer CRT's. Most screensavers are just fun things to watch but don't really work well because EVERY PIXEL has to cycle.

I will probably get it because it's pretty and I can leave it on the TV during dinner parties. Kind of reminds me of those old fireplace videos you play on your tv.
