I would swap Sonic Colours with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

I loved the Adventure games, I'm surprized we have never seen a third game yet...although to be honest I spent most of my time in Chao garden.

Anyway I really disagree with 10, 4 and 3

What about Sonic Chaos, Sonic Triple Trouble and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 CD (which was totaly different and harder from the megadrive Sonic 2)

"Sonic Adventure 2" &
"Sonic and Knuckles"

Sonic 2 CD Version never got released, and it's still up in the air if it ever existed, all info about it comes from magazine previews before Sonic CD was announced so it's possible it was that in beta form.

I would have changed quite a few in that list, but I totally would have said Sonic 3 & Knuckles at top spot rather than just Sonic 3, cause technically they were spose to be one big game.

I honestly think unleashed should have been put in there. It was the beginning mechanics of Colors and Modern Sonic in Generations.

List isn't that good. Sonic CD is arguably the best Sonic ever it definitely should be in the top 5, Sonic Rush is better than Sonic 4, and I personally think SA2 is better than SA1.

all the sonic games feel like mario spinoffs gone wrong.
the 3d games suck and you move so fast in the 2d ones that you can barely enjoy the game. Just hold the analog stick in the right direction and spam the jump button.
The only fun one to me was the shadow game and the 3d gamecube one.

Yes! Sonic Rivals 2 was awesome and very much like the games of old only in 2.5d. The racing aspect was fun but you also could go through the levels in solo.

My personal favorite was the carnival level with ghosts that appeared when it got dark, reminiscent of Sandopolis Zone on Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I've always heard Sonic Colors is just that dang good but never had a chance to find out for myself. One of these days, I will.

Also, I think I've reached a point where I can't tell if my love for Sonic Adventure is all nostalgia or if it's actually as awesome as I remember. It sure didn't age well visually, but I thought the story was really fun.
