GP blogger, Standard Minion writes, "Let me begin by saying this: while this post relates to a discussion of the many faulty morality systems in games, that is a long-winded conversation, a conversation for which the metaphorical horse has long been beaten several feet below the Earth’s crust. Really, he’s down there, and he very kindly asks to be left in peace. This discussion mostly has to do with how players manipulate those choices, and how they become aware of the consequences. As a result, the story in these games often becomes inconsistent, with the player intentionally committing “character assassination” for the sake of being rewarded in the gameplay side of things. Gamers are gaming the system to their own greatest benefit, with stories and storytelling taking a hit in the process."
