OXCGN’s Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Review: 3Do or 3Don’t?

"The Nintendo 3DS is a wonderful piece of technology, and the first slew of ‘real’ games for the portable are finally starting to arrive.

"A few weeks ago, we got The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, a system seller of sorts to much of the fanbase.

"Finally, we get our first taste of delicious zombie blood with Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D in love-or-hate glasses-free 3D.

"The question is: is it 3Do or 3Don’t?"

The story is too old to be commented.

Author hit the nail on the head.

It's a great portable game, but not quite the depth of a full title. Awesome when in need of a five or ten minute break!

This is a port of RE5 DLC right? Like mini missions or is it a full story ?

It's essentially the Mercenaries mode from RE5 with a few extra characters and an extremely loose story.

I like having games that are only good for short stints, it means that I don't lose hours playing them and I end up having more fun (usually).

They still should of made this for the Vita.

The fact that this title doesn't use the 3D properly really is an indicator it should have been on Vita.

It also needs to retail for less if it is really mini-games...

Can't wait for the proper 3DS RE game.
