why dont u go and read on what AMD/IBM have to say and u get a good idea 1st Iwata has said the tech in this thing isnt going to be cheap now go and read the articles on IBM basically says there using a new memory technology that isnt on many of there cpu's at present that makes 4 extreme gameplay like the movements in Zelda HD demo then AMD say there using there best most current tech to date on a custom Radeon HD gpu so this basically says there using features out of there HD7000 series ready for next year there is no way there saying the gpu is based off HD4000 seris as thats not there most current tech and thats what they say will be in the wiiu chip

Can people shut the heck up about the graphics already? Sheesh if Thad your main reason for thinking about buying the WiiU, shame on you

Just_The_Truth2664d ago (Edited 2664d ago )

why should people be ashamed for wanting a visually pleasing screen isn't that a selling point for the 3DS?

AWBrawler2664d ago

It shouldn't be the only reason to get a console. If you think I got a 3DS because of 3D, you're wrong. I saw the Kid Icarus I been waiting forever for and decided that I needed one at launch, or before it releases.
Now I understand that graphics adds to the games, but if your main concern is graphics and you refuse to play anything on the system because the other system has a few more pixels or .0059% better resolution, that's just being petty

Just_The_Truth2664d ago (Edited 2664d ago )

Didn't even know you had a 3ds but i was talking about in general and you seem to be ok with people buying a system for one or two games but not for one of it's main features right? If so you should be ashamed of that because your essentially buying a 250-300 dollar game or 300-400 game for consoles.

I know Nintendo will eventually release other favorites of mine. I should have said that's the Main reason I got it. But I know I'll get a Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and other Nintendo Franchises that I like on the 3DS, so No I didn't buy it for one game. I already have 5 games for my 3DS, so I think I made a good choice.

By comparison, when I got my Gamecube, I didn't make it to 5 games until 4 months later

I agree and disagree with what you've said but I think you are attacking the I only play super graphic whore games that are realistic.

I'm excited about the wiiu as a gamers and some one who is loving the power it unleashes for game design.

As a gamer any thing under 60fps for an action game is a little lame. I'm liking nintendo right now. The hardcore in me lives the old games style of 2d and if your going to do 3d make sure your polygon crunchers can handle it. Gamers are finally waking up to what hd at 60fps is like and it's way more fun and it's actualy in hd.

Hey but all the plans have not surfaced. Ati would be wise to sweeten the deal with nintendo and give them more power or a discount because we may be looking at a huge volumn of chips being sold. Yet they are fine with their current plans.
