Dear EA ala DICE, please just make the game you were going to and don't worry about COD. It's like over a dozen MMO's that have tried to take out WoW over the past 6+ years. It just will not happen.

I don't think they worry about COD as much as some people make it out to be. They are making a genuine Battlefield game that goes back to BF2 as it's roots the way they want to make a game.

It's clear that they aren't worried about trying to simulate or be better than COD if you read the article.

They are making a game and it's different because they think different than Americans. They are Swedish and that shows in the game. As opposed to COD which has that "Fuck yeah, we are Americans and we will fuck you up bitches" attitude which I hate.

I hate that too. I like Battlefield 3's documentary feel. It reminds me of The Hurt Locker (not a documentary but realistic).

Edit: "I don’t want to create a war simulation or a game which picks sides. I think that would be tasteless." This is looking good.
