Mash Those Buttons: It was nearly thirteen years ago that I took my first cautious step outside of Kokiri Forest and saw it for the first time: the vast, rolling green hills of Hyrule Field. If you’re any kind of Zelda fan, then you too will fondly recall being awe-struck at the scope and beauty of it all. But that was then, and this is now. Dozens of adventure games and RPGs have dwarfed Ocarina of Time’s world since it debuted on the N64, just as hundreds of other games have eclipsed its graphical fidelity. With this 3DS remake, however, developer Grezzo and Nintendo have thrown an impressive new shine over classic gameplay that still holds strong today.
Discover 10 timeless video games from the past that remain absolutely playable today. From Chrono Trigger to DOOM, these classics have aged like fine wine!
Hot damn that's a good list. The only one i never played is AOE2 and i never finshed Chrono Trigger but it was damn good.
Speaking of what's old but holds up amazingly well and plays like a dream.. i played Symphony of the Night for the first time in 2019.. yep that's right. It became one of my favourite games of all time that i replay almost every year. I couldn't believe how good it was. That is almost impossible for me with newer games let alone older ones. Truly a special gem.
The only one I’d disagree with is doom. It shows its age badly I think. After 5 minutes of play these days you put it down.
Many games have come and gone as gaming began its illustrious history in this world. So let's talk about the top 100 video games of all time!
BLG writes, "There are many fantastic and iconic weapons in game history, but some are significantly more memorable than others. When we think of iconic game weapons, these are the top 20 that come to mind."
You forgot one and it's a doozy. The weapon is kindness in undertale. :) defeats countless enemies.
