On the mass effect community forum, they are saying that an Australian 360 Magazine Gives Mass Effect 10/10.

To add some weight behind this rumor GameSpot, IGN, and TeamXbox forums are all reporting the same score and information.

Only Xbox 360 allows developers to create an incredible next generation experience like Mass Effect which is a great contestant for GOTY, while PS3 owners get garbage like Lair it makes me feel kind of sorry for them how they have no good games to play

you know i wouldn't dispute this game isn't 10/10 to be honest. It's one of the few 360 games that appeal to me, i think its worthy of a good score. But i find it ridiculous how many 360 games are recieving 10/10. The score 10/10 is supposed to be revered for the very few ultimate games that reach near perfection, yet about 5 360 games have had 10/10 ratings stapled across them as if its normal. Halo 3 10/10? No. PGR4 recieved some 10/10's. Is it? No. Then genuinely brilliant ps3 games just recieve 8.5's and crap. Whatever

With Mass Effect, i don't actually doubt it might be 10/10, it seems like a great game. Although im still unsure as to the screenshots. I've seem some which are great, but i've seen actual gameplay screenshots that look absolutely crap too

Had mostly dialogue in this game they would still give it a 10 its because most of the games that the system is using is Unreal Engine 3 without that the Xbox 360 is nothing take note Gears of War was one BioShock its no wonder the system gets tens all the time or sometimes if this game is truly what it is than it can deserve it but if its mostly graphics like Gears of War than there just giving it a ten mostly for the graphics and of coures if this game had the ability to go 560p they would still give this game a 10 I wonder why even when the PS3 games are triple A titles they still give it a 9 or a 8.

I don't know if it's a culture thing or if Bioware are just excellent storytellers, but I can appreciate their game scripts much more than the Final Fantasy series. KOTOR was a very good story, Jade Empire was aswell. Both captured the target fiction extraordinarily well. It's exciting to think about how Bioware will approach an original sci-fi story.
