Clock Tower 3 was amazing

ian724684d ago

I had Cold Fear for my PS2 and thought it was a great game.

Ser4684d ago

CoC: Dark Corners of the Earth was an awesome game, very atmospheric and true to its roots.

I've never played Shattered Memories...maybe if it would've released on something other than PSP, PS2, and Wii...

imoutofthecontest4684d ago

Yeah because what gamer has any given one of those?

Ser4683d ago (Edited 4683d ago )

I have both a PS2 and a PSP.

1) I have absolutely no way of connecting my PS2 to any tv in the house.

2) I hate the PSP nub.

3) Even if I did own a Wii, I still wouldn't play it because of the Wiimote.

Also, where did I say that the PS2, PSP, and Wii were uncommon among gamers? I don't recall ever saying that.

Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth is one of my favourite survival horror games of all time. The part where you wake up in your bed by someone trying to kick in the door to your room was scary as hell.

zinkabass4684d ago (Edited 4684d ago )

Just checking out a playthrough on youtube. Game looks totally fucked up,..Holly crap, now this is a scary game. Some really genius minds must have worked on this,.. I cannot believe I haven't played this,.. Looks hard as shit though,..

Limitedtimestruggle150d ago

I found Haunted Grounds still sealed at a Salvation Army store, but it's the PAL version lol.

I grew up in a country where we didnt have the majority of consoles you guys had in the rest of the world. My consoles were a Sega 16, and a Microgenius (which I think was a knock off Nintendo NES), I traveled to UK once as a child and bought a Sega Mortal Kombat game, but it was a Sega Genesis (or whatever it was called), and the damn game wouldnt fit into my console. I resorted to cutting the edges of the cartridge to get it to fit in my desperation (imagine that)! Lol

Needless to say it wouldn't run it.

Limitedtimestruggle147d ago

Damn lol! Our first home console was the Sega Master System! Played the controllers to shambles, the console is still live and kicking though!

NIce! I got .hack/QUARANTINE

jznrpg150d ago

I have some of these games but I have played them. Still worth a good amount though and they’re in great condition.

P_Bomb150d ago

I’ve got Shattered Memories. Can’t remember if I beat it or not.

If only there were trophies on PS2, amiright?

I mostly disagree with Downpour's position. Yeah, the game is not amazing by any stretch of the imagination but is much better than the HD Collection and Homecoming. The main issue is the performance, but that was mitigated by the patches, especially on the PS3. Personally, I put it a little behind Origins and The Room.

Having Restless Dreams as a different entry from Silent Hill 2 is also a choice.

bfrye26182d ago

Normally, we would not consider it a different game (Restless Dreams), but since it had a very different critical reception and had new content, it was allowed. As for Downpour, I would agree, but since that one is subjective, we let him make his case for the placement.

gold_drake182d ago

silent hill 2 is definitely the best one out of those.

for me personally, the whole ritual/cult stuff was always so weird to me in all the other games.

CrimsonWing69181d ago

No disrespect but I put SH2 over 1. 1 is fantastic, but 2 took it all up a level.

bfrye26181d ago

We agree, that is why the writer put it in top place!
