Oh hell yea!
What about fixing the ps3 version? ???
Why are you guys disagreeing with chris??? the trophys have been glitched since day one! half of them dont work. and the online has serious balence issues. i went on the site and they keep saying there working on it. BS that was 3 months ago!
Oh no! Not the trophies!
. The difference is minimal but I'm glad they are releasing this so hopefully the ( PC ) pixel counters will stop crying everyday about DX11. Crysis looks fantastic to me and while NO game is perfect, it was a great pleasure to play and I still play, even the SP from time to time. Here's and example of the HDR on consoles, 360 version on display here... http://youtu.be/kF67XFXq_ys The game did have some destructible elements and someone was nice enough to share some video in slow-mo. It must be DX9 so pixel counters will be disappointed...lol... http://youtu.be/mW8bMnkZozQ
It looks the same to you? Time to visit an optician ....
The textures aren't awful compared to the first, the physics aren't awful compared to the first, the AI isn't awful compared to the first. The skins and player models are also AWFUL compared to the first game. It's an awful game and that's what PC gamers are upset about. I expect more out of my sequels, not less. I also expect features to be present at launch, not held back so other platforms aren't put off.
looks sick wish i had money to buy a pc to run that at its maximum, can anyone tell me how much a pc like that would cost me ?
at maximum? off the top of my head less than $1500, more then $1000. www.newegg.com is the best place to look for the parts u want. Good prices.
well i guess thats not that bad if it can run something like that, and yeah newegg luv that place they are so cheap.
More than a $1000? Not at all, $600 I'd say.
You're a little off, it all depends on the resolution. If you're just playing games on your tv at 1280*720 you would be surprised at how little you need to spend to get performance and detail levels far beyond the consoles are capable of. No one needs to buy 300 dollar motherboards or the highest end processors for gaming. A Core i5 750 or Phenom X4 will still run anything and everything incredibly well, no matter the resolution. So really the 600 dollar mark isn't that far off.
its not about gaming at a low resolution... its about requiring a graphics card with 1 gb of memory in order for the high def texture pack in this update.... its about directx ll effects requiring a gtx 580 in order to truely make use of it. And its about needing a core I7 to run all the draw calls and effects for maxed out. This is to max out the quality and get all those new effects and still run good. You can run crysis 2 and have it look like a console with a pretty shitty computer, but were talking about this latest patch with dx11 stuff incorporated... those hard to soft shadows take a lot of resources... and have not been seen in a real time game yet unless they are baked into a texture map.
You would never need to hit $1000
Well the phrase Maximum is different to some people. We need to know the resolution, how much AA you want to employ, what kind of framerates you want to get. Because at 1920x1080, I'd say 1,000 minimum to get a decent experience at max.
Slt is correct, what resolution and amounts of AA. 1,000 would get you a decent PC, and it would certainly be more then enough for Crysis 2, post DX11 patch. The nature of the game makes it pretty easy on the hardware, no massive levels to render from a high mountain. Just a linear street, or some other straight and narrow path.
$1,000 MINIMUM for a DECENT experience? More like maximum for amazing, since $1000 would net you a near top of the line rig that'll max out nearly everything at 1080p and 60fps. $600 is more like minimum, but even then you'll be maxing out most things.
d-d-d-d-d- double post
• Fixed issue in MP where player stats weren’t always saved at the end of a game • Fixed issue in MP where player stats would sometimes randomly reset About freaking time Crytek, the game has only been out since March.
Those water physics are amazing... and Crytek never really had water interaction before aside from ripples. Downloading now.
