"'My name is Reggie, I'm about kicking ass, I'm about taking names, and we're about making games.'
That was the infamous quote that not only defined a gaming revolution, but gave Reggie Fils-Aime the captain’s chair in the movement. Few gaming industry execs end up with the cult of personality that Mr. Fils-Aime obtained because, well let’s face it, we are a fickle bunch and anything could make us turn on someone. How many people run around wearing T shirts with the face of Peter Molyneux or Cliffy B on them? Not many; but we had goofy shirts of Reggie swinging around a set of Wii nunchucks, and it was hilarious. Fast forward to end of the “revolution” and our name taking hero is on the same popularity scale as Hosni Mubarak. This latest fiasco with the petitions for a host of unreleased games in the American market has basically made people jump to some sort of conclusion that Reggie, or the Reggienator, is in some way in charge of all localizations for the company and he is to blame."
