Alice: Madness Returns | Review (PC/PS3/360) | That Gamer Hub

"American McGee’s Alice dazzled gamers with its bizarre and dark spin on Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland. Believe it or not, I actually did play the original game, which came out in the year 2000. Kind of crazy this sequel took so long to come out. Then again, look at Duke Nukem Forever. But just as I predicted that Duke will not disappoint us, this game was also worth the wait. Somewhat. Spicy Horse did bring a lot of the amazing qualities of McGee’s game into Alice: Madness Returns and improved upon them, but stripping off the “stylish straightjacket” reveals unstable and repetitive gameplay that will disappoint all but the most faithful fans of the original."
