Does it matter these days? Bad parents buy their kids CoD and many other 18 rated games. Even if the game case had mature written all over it parents will still buy it for their kids.

It doesn't matter if everybody is playing it. Games like CoD arn't suppose to be played by kids. Just go play online and listen to them.

Depends what is in the game. Not all games should be rated M.

As a parent I am still really shocked by the number of my 10 year old sons friends who come around and say "Yeah I play COD online" or "GTA IV was sick!". These are NOT childrens games. People fail to make the comparison to movies. I've asked friends who let their kids play 18 games if they would let them watch SAW or a bloody action movie. There answer is usually "No way!".

People need to choose what is right for their child BUT keep in mind the sensativity of the individuals and the subject matter in hand IMO. That's what I do with my kids for movies, tv, music and video games.
