The first FEAR was a terrifying game; on the horror meter (that I made up just now) it wouldn't rank at shit-out-your-spine terrifying, but it'd definitely score in at oops-I-think-I-just-peed-a-lit tle. The second game, while not as scary, was still a pretty solid horror experience. So how does FEAR 3 stack up against its predecessors? Find out in our review.
DualShockers Writes "F.E.A.R. 3 (or F.3.A.R. if you’re a marketing executive) isn’t a great singleplayer game. It’s fine, competent even, but Day One Studios had an unenviable task in trying to wrap up Monolith’s F.E.A.R. series. With two timelines and two highly different styles of horror attempted in its wake, F.E.A.R. 3, well, it tries its best."
F.E.A.R. 3 wasn't even really a horror game when it came to the campaign. It was a good action game, but lost just about all of its horror roots along the way.
There have plenty of great horror games, but others haven't been so lucky as to stick around. They deserve to get a new lease on life.
That was probably the first time ever that I saw Castlevania in a list of horror games.
ps: Be warned, you have to click a lot to see every game in the list. I stopped after the 4th time.
What is divergent co-op and how could more games benefit from it?
Am I the only one who didn't find fear even slightly scary in the least? Still an incredibly awesome game though.
Going slow mo and throwing a grenade past the heads of half a dozen clones going "oooooooh shiiiiiiiit! Greeeenaaaaade!" before i shoot it in mid air turning them to a fine paste.
Hmmmm, I'm gonna download it again.
Am I the only one who despise this game?!
A more generic piece of shit excuse for a game I've never come across. Call of Fear they should call it.
Moonlith just should make a new survival horror shooter after this one.
It gets so tiresome seeying sequells this gen.
