I play all classes, whoever's needed at that moment but medic and engineer are my favourites, Recon least I think as I prefer to be on the front line all the time.

i choose based on the map/situation/tactics im going to use and what side im on (in Rush)

but i have to admit i rarely go with the midc
but i do sometimes

I can't stand the RECON class, not because it's snipers, but the fact that I've seen an entire team of RECON way too often in Bad Company 2 and 90% of the time they're selfish players who ignore A and B objectives while fighting over the one guy running through a flat area, parking their ass at base purely for a high K/D ratio, it's just sad. I wish DICE would knock RECON down a peg or two. It just shows players lack variety. Experiment with different classes.

The assault class can't give ammo now and you have to chose between grenade launcher or med kit :(

Honestly it works much better like this than the way it was in bc2. This is how it was in bf 2142 and it was MUCH more balanced.

I think it's because the Assault class is usually the one whos on the front line a lot, therefore they would need the med kit more *shrugs*

Though at the same time, it makes more sense for Support to have the med kit and Assault the ammo.

Because most Medic class players in BF3 played the class as Assault, they had almost the same weapon loadout and could heal and revive as well. Almost no-one played the Assault class in BF2.

the support is the guy that provides covering/suppress fire for the medic when he tends to a guy. If the support guy is the one treating, who's gonna lay down proper support fire?

Well the first bad company assault could heal themselves with a injector. I guess they are letting assault heal themselves again.

I get a feeling they're going to make gillie suits for recon class a specialization. Would be nice though, being able to switch looks between vegetation and urban areas of the map.

I can't wait to play BF3. Still going to take some getting used to the Assault kit having a defib instead of an ammo box. I wonder if they're going to add an All Weapons Kit like we saw in BC2.

I switch between the classes depending on where I can help advance my squad the best (minus recon, cuz I just don't have the patience for sitting on a hilltop with a sniper rifle all day). But What I will miss in the assault class it the ability to drop ammo and regenerate grenades for the M203 launcher. When I first discovered that you can regen grenades for the launcher, i though it was cheap, but then realized that so much of the gameplay was based around distructible environments that it actually made sense to be able to equip more than just 2 grenades per spawn.. especially if you were the assault class.

Either way, I think BC2 multiplayer is a masterpiece for console online shooters, and I can't wait to see what dice has done with BF3!

Awesome! Now because the Asualt and Medic class have switched...Now there should be more "Medics" in the field. There 1 to no Medics in field in BC2 everytime I play.

It's either Assault or Recon for me. Recon is actually quite a good team player if the player dishes out other team campers,call in air strikes, and defend teammates defending/destroying M-COM stations. If the player just goes far behind the map for k/d ratio it ruins the objectives and the game. It really depends on the player for all the classes.

I guess I'm going Assault and Support. Although, I have a feeling I'll be using Support a lot more than Assault.
