CCP has deployed the first phase of EVE Online’s ambitious Incarna update, adding the first portion of a feature that the Icelandic developer has been teasing for years: walking in space stations.
With this update, EVE capsuleers will finally set foot outside their ships – but stations themselves are still off-limits. Baby steps, people! The area that has been added is the Captain’s Quarters: a private section of the station that displays key information in fancy 3D displays and holograms. Think Commander Shepard’s private bedroom on the Normandy, but way more… emergent, we suppose.
