More specifically, Nintendo should take the App Store, and its incredible success, seriously.

Whether the company (this includes Sony) likes it or not, the $0.99 App has quickly become the rule, not the exception. Gamers know they can score a bargain via Apple's platform, downloading cheap games that will last them several weeks, if not months, thanks to a variety of free updates.

Mighty Milky Way is a fusion of three distinct gaming genres: action, platforming and puzzle. Released for 800 Nintendo Points on May 9, 2011, from the minds at WayForward Technologies, it is the spiritual successor to Mighty Flip Champs. You assume the role of the protagonist, Luna: a rather appealing female alien, who is supposedly French. Her job is to planet jump across various worlds within the cosmos while dodging many hazards including the onslaught of her arch-nemesis, the T-Rex.

Nintendo Life: Mighty Milky Way Review

Nintendo Life: WayForward's first DSiWare release Mighty Flip Champs was arguably the first must-have title for the service, and given the game's popularity it's understandable that fans have been clamouring for a sequel ever since. But rather than create a direct sequel, the developer has instead chosen to throw gamers into a completely new gameplay experience, while somehow still retaining all of the endearing charm and engaging attributes of its predecessor.
