Edit, upload, and play your own maps with the Unreal Engine 3 Editor on PC. Jim Brown talks us though some of the features of the Unreal Editor shipping with Gears of War for the PC.
of pc gaming. basically if some one was talented enough and took the time they could in theory produce gears of war 2!
Looks so freaking sweet. Luckily we will see the same thing in UT3 and here we can play the created maps on the PS3 as well. Epic talked about this being possible because the PS3 has an open network. The 360 doesn't have this so I don't think this will be added in Gears of War 2 on the 360.
whats stopping someone from modding unreal III into looking like gears of war and playing it on ps3?
for one why would you want to? and 2, you cant effect the way the game plays, so yeah in theory someone could make GoW like levels for UT3 but it would still be UT3
That's actually a really good idea, someone will probably do a Gears of War Map in Unreal tournament III
Yes right there <3
How many Gears 360 fans are happy right now?
the xbox fans at least got to play this game. but hell yeah ill be picking it up for the pc, and its only £20!! BARGIN!!
I can not stand pc gaming but my god i want that sooooooooooo bad man. That is really cool, i wish xbox live would alow you to do that. But as we all know thats where microsoft is making their money. And before people start riding me with the ps3 is capable of doing that, yes i already know. And yes i think it's cool. And yes i will be getting unreal 3 for the ps3 that i already own. And no i still like xbox better because of it's on line match making and social groups. Thanks!!!!!!!!!
is awesome, everytime i see that game the music makes me wanna play.. that game is like a movie form start to finish thats one cool editor
Wow! That is truly amazing! I think it's time to upgrade my video card...
the best use of the unreal 3 engine that i've seen so far is gears of war and bioshock, and the good thing about it is that they are 2 completely different games.
