Black Ops servers are down for PS3, PC but not Xbox 360?

Product-Reviews writes: We don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but we can confirm that servers for game of the moment Call of Duty Black Ops are offline at the moment. However, the strange thing is that it’s only affecting PS3, PC and Wii gamers, as Xbox 360 owners are totally fine apparently.

This might be what happens when a company runs their own servers and ask you to pay compared to when you want a multi-million dollar service for free.

Microsoft uses their own servers for certain online components of games like Black Ops. So while it's technically Peer to peer, there is still Microsoft servers supporting the network.

Which is why you wont see a terrible host as often on the 360

You sure are delusional, the servers are the same as the PS3 I have played both and the hosts suck as much as they do on the PS3. Start becoming an educated gamer instead of getting screwed by MS and paying for things you don't use or think you are getting better.

Obiovusly you never played both versions of WAW and COD4. You could literally go hours on the PS3 version without getting a full match in. "Connection ended due to poor host" is what what pop up. That would never happen to me on the 360 version.

Why? because Microsoft's servers helped pick the best possible host. Not that it was always lag free or perfect by any means, but at least you could finish a game.

Why do you think P.C. and PS3 versions are down? If they were all the same as you claim, why would the 360 ones still be up?

As a gamer on both consoles, I have never had any luck at all on the PSN when trying to play any COD game. If I was able to connect to a host, it was always a crappy connection.

I have played both on both systems and they BOTH have issues one system does not have more issues then the other. Paying for the 360 to play online does now mean you get QUALITY service only an individual who is delusional will believe that.

As to everyone that doesn't understand about the DLC, Microsoft made a deal with Activision about a year ago to get the DLC around a month earlier than the other consoles.
