Gamesradar has gone on and on (and on) about Crysis' PC-hurting hardware specs. They've played through a chunk of the game and relayed their opinions. In fact, by now, you might be a little bored of hearing about Crytek's high-powered shooter. In which case you might have ignored the recently released singleplayer demo - which would mean you'd be missing out on probably the best demo ever. Really, they've never had so much fun with a demo. And here's why...
1. It starts real strong
2. It's full of beauty
3. You can attack people with chickens!
4 You can throw people through buildings!
5. Crytek has delivered on total destruction
6. The only limit to fun is your imagination
The embedded videos are in sequence with each of the reasons stated above and the their justifications are in the article.
Aren't all demos supposed to give you a good taste of an upcoming title?
whether or not you believe that or not is fine, its personal choice. i think crysis is without doubt the most 'complete' game ive ever played.
plus, due to the games levels 'open nature' you could easly spend 20 hours playing through it, i managed to get a good 2 hours of just the first level (demo).
This demo's most strong point is including sandbox2(editor tool).
You can easily spend times to fun with it and then release date coming :D
it's a wonderful game
as the mighty_douche said, you can easily spend 2 hours on this demo. I did too!
It surprised me as to how truly open-ended the gameplay is. You never have to infiltrate an encampment the same way.
This game is awesome. I can't wait to fight those aliens too. :P
