SFX-360: Child of Eden Review

Luca at SFX360 says:

"Nearly ten years ago Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Q Entertainment awed the gaming world with Rez, a rail shooter that combined frantic gameplay with the aesthetics of Kandinsky, the cyberpunk themes of Neal Stephenson, and a techno soundtrack guaranteed to please the toughest music critics. Trying to describe the game proved nearly impossible, and many gamers (this writer included) were puzzled as to what could be so fascinating about Rez.

I sometimes felt like I was the butt of a joke, hearing raves about the game and being urged that I “just had to try it to understand it”. Perhaps there was some kind of initiation ceremony complete with passwords and secret rituals behind this cult of Rez? So I grudgingly took the plunge, and as they say, the rest is history..."

The story is too old to be commented.

I'm still bitter the game shot up in price from a downloadable game to a full retail. I'll wait for a few price drops before I play it I suppose :-( Until then, hopefully I can play a demo.

I'm in the same boat! I'd like this game to lower in price a bit before I purchase the game.
