Yeah its called texture loading. Lens of Fail tends to do this often when it comes to the 360 pictures.

Even IF 360 wins in screenshots, which is highly arguable, it loses badly in the performance stakes as digital foundry pointed out and no doubt LOT will also confirm soon. Which if anything matters a lot more in these circumstances.

The PS3 version runs a consistant 30 frames, with no screen tearing. The 360 runs without vsync so it tears near constantly and this is not an exaggeration-its an observation. 360's framerate is also extremely variable, with many effects causing the framerate to crash below the 20 frames a second mark. It really runs poorly on 360.

Assuming that you even care about this title, you will want to play it on anything BUT 360. PC is by far the best experience to play this title on, Ps3 is a fairly distant, but adequate, runner up. Just don't play it on 360.

This is what happens when you build a game solely on brand name and nostalgia, it gets left behind. This is 2011, this archaic gameplay won't cut it...yes I'm looking at you too gran turismo. Welcome to the 7th generation

I doubt you've played DNF or GT5. Besides look at mario games, they sell boat loads from nostalgia and brand name. Tons of games are still using the same formula from last gen Halo, Fable, CoD, Ratchet and Clank...guess what they are all still good games.

As far as the comparison goes they look pretty even, guess we'll just have to wait for a performance analysis.

These screen shot comparisons are mocked up because anybody with half brain can tell that lens of lies are anti sony & alter the the photos in 90% of the multi platform comparisons between 360 & PS3 this was a waste of my time once again i want those seconds back lens of lies you fat bastards!

After reading reviews that had gameplay & frame rate down as negatives (and really slammed hard at that), I had to fire up my PS3 version again to see what I had missed when I first played the day it launched when I bought the game......I realized my judgement was perfect, as the frame rate did not faulter & my shooting was extremely accurate so the gameplay was quite good. I thought, wow, maybe I was reading an 360 review of the game...I'm not sure, & not picking on 360 in anyway, (as I do own one), but it may be that the PS3 vsersion just go one of those once rare, but now becoming comon, superior conversions.

I put on the game last night to test my initial judgement, as said already, & found out 2nd guessing myself was stupid. This game is getting panned worse than deserved, as it sticks it's finger up to political correctness & all the BS that is sucking the "FUN" out of movies, tv, & games all the same. I am a product of the 80's, & seeing Indiana Jones with 60yr old Harrison, & Die Hard 4 with 60yr old Bruce is quite an embarrassment & these sequels for the sake of sequels that try bringing these awesome characters of yesteryear into half baked modern day plotlines & scenaries really sucks balls.

Retire these old freaks, & give us the new Arnies....I mean the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) is tailor made to be the next Arnie-esque action star to carry the next Terminator, Commando, Predator, Total Recall or the like, & by that, I don't mean sequels to those classics, I mean a totally new movie & concept that is as awesomely groundbreaking, yet stupidly simple movie idea, that is tailor made for a larger than life actor like Dwayne to star in. We need a James Cameron, Ridley Scott type Aliens huge blockbuster vehicle to really put The Rock where he should be in the action movie world.

And The Duke should be left alone to do his thing in his games, & if you don't like them or do not have the proper respect for the games, or The Duke himself, you should have the snot beaten out of you in the school yard, or the water cooler smashed over your head in the workplace for dis-respecting The King in such a fashion.
Those meathead moron reviewers scoring the game 2's & such should be publicly be-headed for such bad reviewing.
Sure the game is not ground breaking, earth moving, mind shattering, originality personified on a disk......but it is certainly far from a 2 scoring game, as known by anyone who's played the game & has the 2 sides of there brain functioning.

Digital Foundry nailed the analysis before this, but dear god, if you MUST buy this game, buy it on PC. The default settings are Ultra (probably meaning Ultra goddamn ugly).
