Eurogamer reports: CryEngine will support Wii U development, Crytek has announced.
Speaking in an interview with Develop, CEO Cevat Yerli confirmed that "Crytek's support for Wii U is definitely going to happen."

Rarely do you see something with so much potential (Crytek) shoot themselves in the foot so many times.
Instead of sending a C&D Crytek should thank him, for this, because this will lead to more people buying and playing the game.

It would seem that they are finally get that hard-core third party support they keep talking about. That is good news at least.
It look like wii u could get some 3 party support. Hopefully it doesn't fall flat like the gamecube did with 3rd party support.
