I think these Guinness World Records are getting ridiculous... "Longest FPS Development Period"? Why do they have to have separate ones for each genre? If you look at the gaming records, they're pretty lame, stuff like longest tournament for a fighting game standing on one foot and such nonsense.

They need to fill in that book somehow,so anything can go in nowadays. All the awe-inspiring records have been already set and published long ago.

It's a marketing tool, mainly for western games,just like the AIAS. You should have seen the contrived garbage they made up for the Mortal Kombat reboot. Funny stuff that no sane human being would accept.
