Rock Band Set List Unveiled

Harmonix and MTV Games unveiled its set list for its upcoming game, Rock Band. The final game, due November 20 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 on December 18, will feature 58 tracks from top artists from alternative to classic rock to heavy metal and even punk. While Rock Band offers guitar, drum, bass guitar and vocal options, the game's main guitar-only competition, Guitar Hero III released yesterday.

GH3. Its way too expensive and the fact that you can't get single instruments is a turn off.

When something like Fall out Boy makes it into the list for a game with the title of Rock Band over bands like ACDC or Guns N'Roses who are not track listed then you've got to question the game itself.

but they just don't seem interested. Just like Led Zepplin, which is one that really needs to on something like this. AC DC, too. Whether he has any imput on the band itself, Slash is involved with Guitar Hero. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

An okay set list in my eyes. I still dont see this selling well, GH3 is going to eat up most of Rock Bands sales, especially with next gen consoles.. and that's not even factoring in the price. I'm sure most of the sales will come from the PS2 version because X360 and PS3 have too many good titles coming out that people wont pass over.

What would you rather spend $160+ on.. Rock Band OR 3 of the following: Halo 3, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, Haze, Uncharted, Rachet, Call of Duty 4, GH3, etc.

but I don't like the boss battle inclusion. It took almost 3 hours to beat Slash on normal. I had to stop with Lou on normal for now. The boss battles just are not fun. Definitely feels more forgiving with wireless controllers.
